I was honored and excited to have the chance to be the Photographer-in-Residence at Valles Caldera National Preserve this month. Unfortunately, the U.S. government shutdown put an end to that. I really was looking forward to staying in one of the A-frames there and having 24-hour access to this incredible place. Perhaps another time.
